Christyan Sampy
Currently in his last year at the University of Houston, Christyan Sampy is a phenom pole vaulter and 4x NCAA Championships qualifier. His highest finish, 8th place, earned him All-American first team honors in the NCAA and was ranked top 25 nationally in the Men’s Pole Vault. The Houston school record holder is finishing his eligibility in a masters program and plans to compete on the pro level for the upcoming Olympic years.
The 2024 indoor season showed a Second-Team All-American finish in the Pole Vault at the NCAA D1 Indoor Championships. He was also the runner-up at the BIG12 Championships in the vault. Indoor PB of 5.61m setting the new school record.
